Saudi JubaiL 3B IWP Project was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation from SEC

On May 24th, 2023, the Eastern Region Headquarters of the SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) held its first annual Safety Day and Safety Recognition Conference to award the advanced project of safety management in eastern region, with the participation of SEPCOIII Saudi JubaiL 3B IWP Project. 

A total of 3 projects in the SEC eastern region won the safety advanced commendation. The 380/33kV SWPC 3B BSP project and 380kV OHTL project implemented by SEPCOIII stood out from more than 70 projects under construction in the SEC East region in this commendation conference, and were selected as the SEC safety management advanced project, which occupied two places of commendation. Mr. Wasel, Manager of SEC Projects Department-East, personally presented the Certificate of Appreciation to the Project representative. 

Since the establishment of the project, all the project employees have always followed the company’s safety system, SEC OSH ISO45001 & 5 stars Health and Safety management system as the guidelines, and carry out all the safety management work with high standards and strict requirements. The Project has completed and passed a total of 14 quarterly and annual safety audit by SEC headquarters in Riyadh, Dammam Eastern Region Headquarters and the owner. The 380/33kV SWPC 3B BSP project and 380kV OHTL project have respectively obtained the SEC highest standard "5 star" grade, which is highly recognized by the owner and SEC. 

The issuance of the Certificate represents the owner’s recognition of the safety management work on SEPCOIII Saudi Jubail 3B IWP project, as well as the acknowledgement of the hard work and efforts of all the project’s cadres and workers. All staff of the Project will take this commendation as an opportunity to make persistent efforts, adhere to putting safety in first, carry out all the safety management work with high standards and strict requirements, and ensure the safe and orderly implementation of all project construction activities until the final COD.
