The sixth layer of wall plate of the hot tank of South Africa Redstone Project has been jacked up

At 8:40 a.m. on January 14, 2023, the lifting of the sixth floor wall panel of the hot molten salt tank of the South African Redstone project was completed, marking another milestone in the installation of the molten salt tank of the Redstone project.

The total weight of the roof and wall panels is about 296 tons, and 35 hydraulic jacks are evenly arranged. In order to ensure the successful completion of the jacking work, the project department planned in advance and held special meetings to identify operational risk points and formulate emergency plans. Before the jacking, a detailed safety technical disclosure was made to the construction personnel. During the jacking period, the safety technology was strictly followed. Relevant professionals from the project department followed the shift and strengthened process control. After more than an hour of joint efforts by various professionals, the sixth layer of the hot tank was successfully lifted to the predetermined height, and at noon Complete the hoisting of twelve fifth-layer sidings before 12:00.

The smooth lifting of the sixth-layer siding of the hot tank laid a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of the molten salt tank.
